About the School

In 1989, Hillcrest High School was created by combining four county high schools: Repton High School, Lyeffion High School, Conecuh County High School (Castleberry), and Evergreen High School. Hillcrest High School (HHS) is the only high school in the Conecuh County School System that serves students in 9th-12th grades. Students feed into HHS from Thurgood Marshall Middle School (6th-8th), Conecuh County Junior High Schools (K4-6th), Lyeffion Junior High School (K4-6th), Southside Preparatory Magnet Academy (6th -8th), and Repton Junior High School (K4-6th).

Hillcrest High School students are able to advance their education by completing courses through Dual Enrollment classes offered through colleges/universities as well as through our Career and Technical Education programs offered at the Workforce Development Center (WDC). The WDC is located between the Brooks Memorial Stadium and Hillcrest's main campus. The WDC help guide and educate students in career  choices and allow them to explore various career paths while  in High School. Students are transported via bus from the main building to the WDC. Students can participate in the following programs: Agriscience, Business Administration and Management, Health Sciences, Dual Enrollment Welding, STEM and JAG.

Hillcrest High School offers a variety of extracurriculars, including an award-winning marching band. Hillcrest participates in class 3A athletics under the AHSAA.

Hillcrest is located at 1989 Jaguar Drive in Evergreen, Alabama.
